Jill Hewlett is the founder and mentor of the Women’s Wellness Circles. She began the first monthly Circle a decade and a half ago. Today there are many wonderful hosts and locations to choose from across the GTA and beyond.
Known by her indigenous name Medicine Song Woman, Brenda MacIntyre has shared her evocative melodic voice and fusion of reggae, rap and indigenous hand drum healing music with appreciative audiences across North America.
Brenda will share her healing and uplifting messages through song, uplifting stories and her inspired oracle cards, which will connect us with the fundamental elements of nature and ourselves. We will be dancing, moving, singing along, and experiencing shaker medicine and new hand drum songs.
Tanya Porter is an interdisciplinary artist and the founder of The Inner Space teaching classical yoga, meditation, and drumming to both adults and youth. She is also the creator of Rhythmic Re-framing, a mindfulness drumming modality.
Tanya Porter will open the event with her playful and powerful Rhythmic Re-framing method, using body movement and percussion to establish the voice, rhythm and message from your Inner Creator. She will also accompany Brenda on drums and facilitate interactive elements for Brenda’s empowering music.
Amanda Perrone is a Mentor, Healer and Moon Mother who uses the magic of the moon and ceremony to assist others in mastering the art of flowing with moon cycles and tuning into their own personal rhythms to create a life by design.
As a closing ceremony, Amanda will lead us through a beautiful gift of love created by Miranda Gray to heal our Yoni, to return our Yoni to sacredness, and to reconnect us with the Earth Mother and our sisters all around the world. Once you have received this blessing you too can pass it on to the women in your lives.
